But with this pregnancy, I still had the desire to do a natural birth and the closest thing to a home birth in the hospital setting. My chiropractor referred me to Melody and said how she is getting certified to become a doula, so I immediately checked her Instagram and I knew right then and there I wanted her by my side. She was everything I expected and more, even to the point where she climbed in the laboring tub with me with her clothes on and all, and guided me through every intense contraction. I don’t know how I would have gotten through the intense pain if she didn’t apply her wonderful skills to help relieve the pressure. The main attraction that led me to choosing her was that we had the same opposing views and opinions on medical interventions and desires on natural birth.
